Everyone’s musical aspirations, goals and inspirations are different, so lessons are structured around what you want to achieve. I aim to provide a relaxed, friendly learning environment suitable for all ages – I believe anyone can play guitar with the correct guidance.
Lessons are taught with professionally produced, colour printed material from Neck Diagrams and MuseScore software and supported with the use of Backing Tracks, Jam Tracks, Drum Loops, a Looper Pedal and audio files of various licks, solos and riffs etc. I am a firm believer that guitar techniques and knowledge should be taught within the context of the music that the student enjoys and reinforced with real-world examples from those genres and artists.
The Rockschool and Trinity grades offer an enjoyable, measurable way to chart your musical progress that many students like and I can guide you through the Rock, Electric or Acoustic syllabuses.
